Before you book
Teeth whitening during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Pregnancy and breastfeeding are good reasons to review cosmetic plans before making a whitening booking. Routine oral-health questions belong with your dentist.
JayWhite · Client information guide

Follow the dental guidance
The Australian Dental Association advises against teeth whitening during pregnancy or breastfeeding because safety has not been established. This is a precaution; it is not a reason to stop routine dental care or avoid asking for dental advice.
Tell us before arranging dates
If you already have a JayWhite appointment, contact the team to discuss your circumstances and the next step. Do not assume the booking has moved until you receive confirmation. Have your appointment details ready so the team can find the correct reservation.
Check home products too
Mention any whitening strips, pens or toothpastes to your dentist when asking what is suitable. A different format or an over-the-counter purchase does not answer the safety question by itself. Keep packaging available so advice can relate to the actual product.
Plan without a deadline
You can revisit cosmetic whitening when appropriate rather than trying to fit it around an event now. If you need help with an existing booking, use the contact page or call 0417 938 335. Your clinician can advise on oral care in the meantime.
