Aftercare
Teeth whitening aftercare: questions to ask before you leave
Good aftercare starts with understanding the instructions for your own appointment. Save the written guidance and ask about anything that does not fit your routine.

Get instructions you can follow
Before leaving, ask which steps to follow that day and afterwards. If instructions mention avoiding something, clarify how long and why. Use your personalised guidance alongside our aftercare page; a general online checklist cannot account for everything discussed during your visit.
Discuss the products you already use
Tell the team about any whitening pen, toothpaste, foam or kit you use at home. Ask whether to pause or change anything and follow the product directions. Receiving an aftercare gift does not mean you should use every product immediately or combine them without guidance.
Know who to contact
Save JayWhite’s number, 0417 938 335, for questions about the instructions. Whitening can cause sensitivity or gum irritation. Ongoing pain or dental concerns need advice from a dentist. Do not use a follow-up booking as a substitute for having a concern assessed.
Plan your follow-up
Premium includes a second visit a week after the first. Keep that appointment in your diary and mention anything you experienced between visits. If you are thinking about future maintenance, read our touch-up guide and ask about your own needs rather than automatically repeating treatment.
